Honey Bun Banana Pudding Dessert

Ingredients

For the Base:


– 6 Honey Buns, sliced or crumbled
– 4 bananas, sliced
– 1 box (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
– 2 cups cold milk

For the Cream Layer:


– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 ½ cups whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade)

For the Topping:


– 1 cup crushed vanilla wafer cookies or graham crackers
– Extra sliced bananas for garnish
– Drizzle of honey or caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Pudding:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Set aside in the refrigerator to firm up.

Make the Cream Layer:
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.

Assemble the Dessert:
In a 9×13-inch tray, layer the bottom with half of the sliced or crumbled Honey Buns. Spread half of the banana pudding over the Honey Buns, followed by half of the cream layer. Add a layer of banana slices, then repeat with the remaining Honey Buns, pudding, and cream layer.

Add the Toppings:
Sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers evenly over the top. Garnish with extra banana slices and drizzle with honey or caramel sauce, if desired.

Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled and enjoy this decadent twist on classic banana pudding!
