Ingredients
– 20-25 grapes, washed and completely dried
– 2 cups white sugar
– 1/2 cup water
– 1/4 cup light corn syrup
– White gel food coloring
– Other gel colors of your choice (neon pink and sky blue recommended)
– 2 teaspoons flavored oil of your choice
– Sprinkles for decorating (optional)
– 20-25 Skewers
Instructions
1- Prep Grapes: Ensure grapes are thoroughly washed and dried. Skewer each grape, setting them aside for dipping.
2- Sugar Mixture: In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup. Cook without stirring until the mixture reaches 300°F on a candy thermometer.
3- Coloring: Once removed from heat, stir in white coloring and your choice of flavoring. Add 3-4 drops of gel colors and swirl.
4- Coating Grapes: Dip and spin each grape in the sugar mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Optionally roll in sprinkles and set on parchment paper or a silicone mat to dry.
5- Serving: Allow the grapes to dry for about 15 minutes, or chill in the fridge for 10 minutes to harden.
