Ingredients
– 40 club crackers
– 7 slices maple-flavored bacon
– 3/4 cup brown sugar
– A few pinches of cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350℉ (175℃). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack over the sheet.
2. Arrange the Crackers:
Lay 20 crackers evenly spaced on the wire rack.
3. Prepare the Bacon:
Cut the bacon slices into smaller pieces that slightly overlap the size of each cracker, as the bacon will shrink during cooking. Place a piece of bacon on each cracker.
4. Add Toppings:
Sprinkle just under a teaspoon of brown sugar over the bacon on each cracker. If desired, lightly sprinkle cayenne pepper over the entire tray for a touch of heat.
5. Bake:
Bake the crackers in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the brown sugar has melted.
6. Cool and Serve:
Allow the crackers to cool completely before serving. If they stick to the rack, gently press them up from underneath to loosen.
Enjoy!
