Banana Bread Brownies

Ingredients

– 2–3 bananas (mashed)
– 1/2 cup butter (melted)
– 1 cup sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

1- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

2- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas. Whisk until smooth and well combined.

3- Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the wet mixture. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix. If using, fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips.

4- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Tip: For a fudgier texture, bake for 25 minutes. For a more cake-like result, bake closer to 30 minutes.

5- Let the brownies cool for at least 10–15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm for a gooey texture or at room temperature for a firmer bite.
