Beefaroni

Ingredients

– 8 ounces elbow macaroni
– 1 pound lean ground beef
– 1/2 onion, finely chopped
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 28 ounces tomato sauce

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onions together, breaking up the beef until it’s cooked and the onions are soft.
2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, until you can start to smell it.
3. Stir in all the seasonings and add the tomato sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil, and cook the pasta according to the package directions.
5. Drain the pasta then add it to the sauce, and toss until everything is combined. Serve immediately.
