Ingredients
– 6 Tbsp butter
– 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
– 3 eggs
– 1 cup sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– ½ cup flour
– ¼ tsp baking powder
– ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
1- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a pie plate or 9-inch springform pan.
2- In a heat-safe bowl, melt together the butter and 2 cups of chocolate chips until smooth, using a double boiler or microwave at 50% power in 30-second intervals. Let it cool.
3- In an electric mixer, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
4- Mix in the cooled chocolate mixture.
5- Fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Stir in the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips.
6- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
7- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is puffed, and the top may crack.
8- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
9- Top with hot fudge to serve.
Enjoy!
