Lemon Cream Cheese Dump Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 (15.25 oz) box lemon cake mix
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 (21 oz) can lemon pie filling

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the cream cheese and sugar in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread the lemon pie filling evenly at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Drop the cream cheese mixture by spoonfuls over the lemon filling. Don’t worry about spreading it evenly; the beauty of a dump cake is its rustic look!
  5. Sprinkle the lemon cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer. Use a fork to distribute it well and cover any large gaps.
