Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 package pepperoni slices
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 (16 oz) package uncooked penne pasta
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook penne pasta according to package directions for al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat.
- In the prepared baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta, meat sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and bacon. Repeat layers.
- Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
