Ingredients:
- 8 ounces rotini pasta
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 4 ounces sliced pepperoni sausage
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the rotini pasta in a large pot of lightly salted boiling water until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, in a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef and onion mixture with the spaghetti sauce and sliced pepperoni.
- Add the cooked and drained pasta to the sauce mixture, stirring until everything is well coated.
- Transfer the pasta mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pasta.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown on top.
