Pepperoni Pasta Bake

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces rotini pasta
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 4 ounces sliced pepperoni sausage
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the rotini pasta in a large pot of lightly salted boiling water until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, in a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef and onion mixture with the spaghetti sauce and sliced pepperoni.
  5. Add the cooked and drained pasta to the sauce mixture, stirring until everything is well coated.
  6. Transfer the pasta mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pasta.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown on top.
