Ingredients
– 2 liters ginger ale
– 2 liters lemon-lime soda
– 1 quart pineapple juice
– 1/2 gallon orange sherbet
– Maraschino cherries (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
In a large punch bowl or beverage dispenser, combine the ginger ale, lemon-lime soda, and pineapple juice. Stir gently to combine.
Using an ice cream scoop, add scoops of orange sherbet to the punch mixture. The sherbet will float on top and slowly melt into the punch, adding flavor and creaminess.
Garnish the punch with maraschino cherries, if desired, and serve immediately.
Alternatively, you can chill the punch in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve the Shirley Temple Punch in glasses filled with ice.
