Ingredients
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
– 1 egg
– 1/4 cup minced onion
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon pepper
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 1 onion, sliced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup
– 1/4 cup water
– 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
1- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Shape the mixture into 4 patties.
2- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onion and minced garlic, cooking until they become soft and fragrant.
3- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, water, and Worcestershire sauce into the skillet. Blend well.
4- Place the formed beef patties into the skillet. Ladle some of the sauce over the patties to coat them.
5- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then lower the heat. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the patties are thoroughly cooked.
6- Serve hot over a bed of fluffy rice or creamy mashed potatoes.
