Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf

Ingredients

For the Meatloaf:

– 1 box Stove Top stuffing mix (6 oz)
– 1 lb ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork for extra flavor)
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1 large egg
– 1/2 cup chopped onion
– 1/2 cup chopped celery
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional, for extra flavor)
– Salt and pepper (to taste)

For the Glaze:

– 1/2 cup ketchup
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon mustard (optional, for tanginess)

Instructions

**Preheat Your Oven**
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

**Prepare the Stuffing Mixture**
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Stove Top stuffing mix and milk. Let it sit for 1–2 minutes to allow the stuffing to absorb the liquid.
Stir in the ground beef, egg, chopped onion, chopped celery, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until just combined—avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender.

**Shape the Meatloaf**
Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and press it down evenly. Alternatively, shape it into a freeform loaf on a baking sheet for crispier edges.

**Make the Glaze**
In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard (if using). Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

**Bake the Meatloaf**
Bake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) when measured with a meat thermometer.
Let the meatloaf rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing to allow the juices to redistribute.

**Serve and Enjoy**
Slice the meatloaf and serve warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, green beans, or roasted vegetables. Enjoy the comforting, herby goodness!

Enjoy!
