Tropical Bliss Pineapple Fritters

Sweet, tangy, and oh-so-crunchy! These Tropical Bliss Pineapple Fritters are a tropical delight that will transport your taste buds to paradise!

Ingredients:


– 1 large pineapple, peeled and cored
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1 large egg
– 3/4 cup milk
– Vegetable oil for frying
– Additional cinnamon and sugar for dusting

Directions:


1. Slice the pineapple into rings about 1/2-inch thick.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
3. Beat in the egg and milk until the batter is smooth.
4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
5. Dip each pineapple ring into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
6. Fry the rings in batches, turning once, until they are golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
7. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
8. While still warm, dust the fritters with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
